BTW, the pricing/subcription model is hard to understand. Visually appealing and detailed table and text, but IMHO too difficult to get your head around. Is it just me?

I'm trying to incorporate smart slider into the personalization port of sections (I already emailed smart slider but thought I would put this here as well.

Here's the basic summary.

1. I'm using cobalt sections and the personalization portion.
2. I've been able to pull in other apis (like Easy Social and Joobi) to embed other info onto my cobalt user page. I grab user id from url using this code: $userId = JFactory::getApplication()->input->getInt('user_id');

Is allowing me to embed the user data you are currently viewing on that page (since the url - renders the user id) page you are current viewing

What I want to do is only show slider images of that particular user you are viewing -- from their records. So I realize there would be some hard coding involved but I'm hoping there is a way to do this -- so again it automatically pulls the records from the user's page in cobalt perhaps using their Generator function or a view template in their module code.

Actually, I am sure they can "pass over" the userID#.
The current documentation screenshot looks like a fixed ID input.

BTW, did you notice the special Gallery template for the Records module?
As far as I know, this would show the user's records only.

HeadsUp: There is still a "bug" regarding the module display in homepage context!
So, you either have to load a module programatically in your userblock area.
Or with the help of Modules Anywhere! by NoNumber.nl

Would you mind to have a look into this module / user's homepge issue? I think this can be solved for Records module by adding a simple parameter checkbox. For instance, the 2 "Follow" modules work in always in user's homepage context. This display restriction should be "optional" for Records module.

Another idea and workaround: Add special Cobalt module-positions into userblock.php ;)
Maybe even more than one? i.e. above, left, right, below
