link menu to subscategory

hello in cobalt i have 1 category with severak subcategories but it seems i can not make link in mainmenu to subcategories, i only can principal categorie can you help me please

and it seems count article in categories does not work

Workaround: Try a J! MenuItem of type "externalURL". Copy-Paste your SubCategory URL.

(Attention: Could have problems with keeping the MenuItemID and Module-Assignment. You might append the ItemID manually at the end. This seems to be a feature-bug in Joomla2.5. I remember, it worked in J15)

Since this topic is related to menuItems... i noticed that the cobalt "Article" menuItem offers only a plain "ID" input. Would be nice to have a modal window with article-chooser ;-)
