Yes. Good. Finally our strategy will fit perfectly. Because that is what we always believed to. Joomla had to have UI elements and developers just utilize them and then all extension would look great in any template.

Another good new here that all "adapted" extension will fall off. What I mean is that all extension that during migration to J2.5 just made it function and not comply to native J2.5 standards will have hard time migrating to J3

May be yes. DO yo know where to start?

By the way when they decided what to use as JS library and I still had my forum account I was against that. And I was against patTemplate they used in Joomla 1.0 and even in Joomla 2.5 they could not completely get rid of it.

No one is listen for me :(

Please, correct me if I am wrong. When Joomla say about bootstrap they sy abour JUX and CSS only? Not any PHP bootstraping?

I like this concept. This is what we always wanted Joomla to be and this what we always was talking about and complained that it is not yet there.

  1. I do not think it is already the time for it. I think it will be time for Joomla 3.0

  2. I do not think we will have problem with our MooTools scripts.

  3. I think to migrate and adopt all Cobalt UI to fit J3 will not be difficult.

Do you think it worth to start incorporate bootstrap now?

The future plans for Joomla UI (JUI) involve integrating a standardized set of UI elements for both frontend and backend to ensure consistency across Joomla components. By using Bootstrap, Joomla aims to streamline development, minimize custom CSS, and foster a cohesive user experience. The goal is to have a centralized, minimally styled UI toolkit that all developers can use, thereby reducing the fragmentation seen in current Joomla components. This initiative also emphasizes responsive design and broad community adoption.
