I would like to see a simple stock-on-hand display and management. Especially useful for limited offers or special deals. Since you worked with Hikashop... you may know what I am talking about ;-)
Example for a purchasable item:
"Stock on hand" parameter
Display in frontend YES/NO
Display options, if stock = ZERO
1.) show out-of-stock message, 2.) hide article 3.) un-publish article
