Sometimes the clusterer does not display the icons. Maybe an upgrade to markerclustererplus from version 2.0.9 (used in the template) to the latest 2.0.14 might help.
I noticed quite some delay, when the script is loaded within our intranet project from a workstation with slow internet connection. Maybe an option to get the script locally or from the google server would make sense.
In general, there should be an option for every external script, how to be included.
