V534 - Moderator Problem

You mean on this site? Can you tell where exactly you have something that you should or shouldn't?

Not on this site/project. The problemsa are with my project. I did not update my site since V8.496 due to weekly update problems. Now i tried V.8.534 and noticed problems with the moderator functionality. It seems also section related. User who dont have the right to set moderator, can not even edit records anymore. User who can set moderators only have this functionality, but can not edit as well. But as said, it seems section related. On a different section, the "gear" button appears. I reinstalled V8.496 and everything is working as expected.

Under V8.534 if you try to select a user from the modal window (when defining the moderator rights) and change the pagination from 5 to 10, the modal window will be empty.

Can you turn on error reporting to maximum. And it would be great if you provide link and access where we can see it.

We cannot reproduce it localy. Are you the super moderator set in global Cobalt configuration?

Hi Sergey , after upgrade in my template ( ja wall ) modal pop is dead to click .but pop up was working fine untill 8.531 ( i guess the version ) . after than unlike " Sackgesicht " pop up is showing but not click able anything ( child attach , moderator , contact...... ) . again for your information This pop up was working before with JA Wall template

Yes, still the same ... but an error message displays "You have not permissions to view this page"

This will explain the empty page.

But the main issue is, that depending on sections, i can not even edit records as a moderator anymore. The gear symbol (and therefore the "edit") does not appear anymore. "Edit" was still working in V8.531, then starting with V8.534, it was not working anymore. It seems to have something to do with section or user acl settings.

Selecting Moderators was also not working in V8.496 ... Not sure if it was ever working, i remember that i had this issue long time ago already. Reproduction is quite easy. Have more than 5 users and try to select from the second page ...

If i am the super moderator, the only option available is "Set moderator", if i am another moderator, the gear icon does not even show up.

I was testing moderator feature localy today morning. And i cannot reproduce it.

But I know that I was adjusting access checker class. So it is quite possible that there is something that cause it.

BTW do you have moderators limited by categories?

it seems V8.544 solves the problem ... (at least the edit problem) ... not yet the moderator table
