Performance issue - editing of records

Editing of records gets slow with increasing number of records.

Opening of the edit window takes now even longer than displaying the intro view.

Maybe the audit log/versioning might be responsible for it. I believe there is still some area for improvement.

I do not think so. It is not ever active on edit open unless you save the record. We need to investigate SQL queries on that page and find which one makes it slower.

I suspect that the google map is responsible for the delay .. will investigate further later

Try to turn off initialisation of positon. It loads some Javascript which may not be well accessible there.
