No doubt I'm irritating you all with my questions :D I am sorry for being a pest

On going to test my submission form again, I have found that the where to post, who can repost and category fields are showing in the form, although I have set it in the submission template to no. Screen pics below. Is there some other setting that I might have inadvertently turned on? I've looked through all templates and cannot find anything else.

Your second screenshot shows only "icon" options. Those template parameters do not allow/restrict anything.

Check out YourSection -> Tab Personalization.

There you will find parameters for: - general personalization mode on/off - post anywhere - user categories submission (i guess, that is the add new category part in your screenshot) - User section settings (Tab): Determines what the homepage owner can change in frontend
