How to change SEF url structure?

Hello Giorgi625, your first URL structure is a result of the section's parameter "Personalize".
See yourSection -> tab Personalization

Besides it has an impact on "Follow" feature,
and it also creates a user's homepage link on usernames in lists:

If you turn off "Personalize", the default SEF URL for a record would look like this:
mysite.com/directors/item/34-joon-ho-bong.html

I don't care about follow option, because I have movie catalog where every registered user can edit each others records and for me there is now record owner, because I hide everywhere information about record author, because when one user adds record, every site user is its owner. so thank you again.

Yes /item/ is not problem or I will override it on some other word. main problem was that it displayed user infrmation in url.
