Hi

My site uses a Component called "Music Collections"... All the downloads are through "Music Collections".

Is it possible to set up your Software where a Unregistered User can see all and everything but when he clicks on a download icon, he will be directed to a page where he can choose from a couple subscription plans ?

Please advise Ron

Hello keyboard,

as long as your component provides a specific URL structure and variables, it should be possible to restrict the access. Emerald has a very easy and universal method to work... you should have a look into the quick start article in the the docs. See headline "Restrictions Tab".

Example of universal URL restriction rule for J! core articles:
Hence also the description text in the screenshot. The same principle should work for Music-Collection. You would have to select the component, and then enter your desired URL parts...

I assume you are talking of the JoomlaThat product ;)
The demo page runs with SEF URLs on, so I can't really give an example how Emerald works...

Maybe you can provide some example URLs you would like to protect? How does a none-SEF download URL look like?
