Cobalt stripping out iframes

First you have to check if it is Cobalt at all. Create core Joomla article with iframe and see if it will behave any different.

Also tell me what field are you useinf for iframe? Is it HTML? If so, have you configured HTML filter in parametr to allow iframe?

What is iframe for?

iFrame is for google calendar. Good idea, will test standard joomla article.

Works fine on a standard Joomla article.

iFrames are only showing for logged in users

You have not answered what field we are talking about I do not know where to start looking. Also see in field parameters HTML filter options. iframe should be there but filters might skip for admin.

Hi, Was there ever a solution for this? I have a client with this issue. They are trying to embed an iframe for a vimeo video but it is only visible to users who are logged in. They are adding this to a HTML field.

Look at parameters in HTML field. iframe is one of blacklisted in filters. Turn filters off and you will be able to insert iframe.

Thanks, I've attempted to modify the filters but whatever I try is making no difference. Could you confirm if parameters in the screenshot attached is what I should be editing?

You can see Filter HTML tags list there is iframe. Delete it.
