Which kind of template/template engine do you use? It seems there are other problems too. For example the article buttons appear incorrectly. I suggest to use gantry5 template framework (this is the best one) or other which one is based on bootstrap 2. Cobalt use bootstrap 2 for all of the views.

I use a Shape5 template - have to check if that specific template is based on bootstrap. Thanks.

Sergey And what version of bootstrap too.

FYI - I have tried the latest VERTEX framework and the last FREE template.
First of all, the feature set looks awesome and very complete. But on second sight I have mixed feelings about it. I would not recommend to use it... especially when you have extensions that rely on Bootstrap. (no matter if JUI core BS2 or BS3)

Why? They seem to have their own CSS for grid and template layout. Which is totally fine. Additionally they load their own Bootstrap v2 (!?) version. Which is a really strange approach and concept, because you can't disable this version at all?! And why are they NOT loading Joomla core Bootstrap?!

My own experience with VERTEX and Cobalt is very bad. Mostly due to the Vertex Bootstrap and CSS handling. The free template had many overrides for common bootstrap classes and does also mess-up other Joomla pages and components. This is really hard to fix, no matter from which side – Vertex or Cobalt. Conclusion: I would not dare to use this framework in combination with Cobalt. Sorry.

A conflict with JUI Bootstrap v2 implementation ;)

Despite that I agree with you.
I just wanted to point that VERTEX was my worst experience.
VERTEX really raised the bar – in a negative manner!
Too bad, because it has a lot of useful options and features.
