I join the question. Very interested in what kind of plan for Cobalt 9.

I watched interview of Sergey from may of this year, where he says that he will release Cobalt 10 (to have same number as Emerald), not 9, but did not gave exact dates.

I hope he is waiting for Joomla 4? and new cobalt will be optimized for work with BS 4 as Joomla 4 tempaltes will be base on it, so we will not have problem which is main problem for current time with BS2 and BS3.

Cobalt 9 Beta (alpha) was not updated for around 2 years on the beta site in Github

Yes, it is online. That was made 2016, when I wan on Joomla day Moscow. But that interview is Russian.

It is still long time to release. I'll not start now as they may change a lot of things still. I think I'll start adoptation with first RC release.

Also I'll release Cobalt 9 with Joomla 4. I mean not that everyone expect. Just the things that was done till this day. All frontend, ajax page loader. That is basically it.

But main change for Emerald and Cobalt for J4 will be adomtation of template to TWBS4. All templates and layouts will be refactored.

Hi, is there any sense in developing cck for Joomla 4 or it will be better to do somekind of custom fields extension with all the features Cobalt provides? Field group = Types, Fields = Fields.

I'm a long time user, sience 2008 of Resources and Cobalt, and got lifetime subscriptions. Yes the lifetime subscriptions have a very low cost. Is there any possibility to make donations as Thank You - for all these years?

I hope there is more than me our there, what will develop Mint Joomla and give it some extra to build for the feature.
