Is Cobalt supposed to work with a CDN ?

I wonder if Cobalt as it is, would accept using a CDN?

Right now there is no integration with CDNs. But You can use it with video field for example. Upload video file manually to CDN and insert link to video file.

It would be nice if this can be done in future for gallery field and other fields that are supposed to get files uploaded

This was in our plans. Unfortunately there is no posibility to protect those files from unauthorized download.
