Hi, I am really confused with Cobalt 8.
I just don't get it.
Yep, I accept that I must sound really stupid, but ... I'm stupid, so for all the stupids out there:
Are there any links to tutorials, any tips or tricks for beginners to understand the basics, like terminology, differences between the menu items (you can only experience the difference when you can make them do something, if you can't even do that then you can even start).
I have looked at http://docs.mintjoomla.com/en/cobalt/ but it starts way ahead of where I need.
Cobalt 8 - Quick Start is cool, and I could do with a bit more of this stuff to help me before I suddenly jump to the next tutorials:
Send email alerts cron
Create pre-filtered links filters
Create category menu element
Automatic articles check-in cron
So far I think this is correct:
Type - this is the form.
Field - this is the field type that goes in to the form,
Sections - are really the 'articles that you put the forms in to.
Categories - the categories that you put the sections in to.
If anyone can direct me or assist I would be appreciate it
All the best
Jon
