problem when changing author

I have a record that I want to change the author. I edit the record and select a different author for the record and save it - everything works.

The problem is when I try to select a new author and filter the user list - I then get an error message in the select authour popup window that says "Error - You have not permissions to view this page". The error doesn't occur when I try to edit the record as a Joomla super user. All other users have the problem.

Any idea what the cause may be?

I have this error with every user. Even my SuperAdmin aacount. Any search or filter operation leads to the error message:

cob_edit_article_search_filter_author_error

Closing and re-opening the dialog results in a total blank dialog. No user list at all. I have to save the article again... then open the user-selection window again.

Environment: Latest Joomla 3.3.3, latest Cobalt 8.569

Ok. There was another bug hiding. Fixed it. But cannot update today.
