Moderator permissions

Oh! Right. All moderator allows works with category limit except this one.

That took to refactor all process how Cobalt saves categories. But it should be more reliable now. And includes moderator limitation.

i have just downloaded 8.534 and installed, getting this message after install " JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file "

Still i am able to post in any category as a moderator ( limited for certain category though )

What category selector template are you using? Custom template or one of the supplied?

supplied template not custom. I will try to do it again with default template ( current template for category selection is Smart template )

I see. Smart template is a part of advanced template package. Please make sure you install that updte as well. Sice Cobalt everything package size was growing, advanced templates not is not a part of cobalt everything package and should be installed separately.

Hi. I have moderator permission problem again. This time If i make a user moderator just for limited category ( category A ) to add article and edit article ... then that user able to edit article of that category but article saved in another category also the user is not able to create any article in that category for which he has been assigned to . FYI : cobalt category selection template is normal , latest cobalr version with j3.3.3

I tested user can add to that category. And it is saved in that category. Do you have category selector element on the form?

I made some adjustments for user rights class. Let's see if it will work after update.

It should be fixed by next update.
