Add possibility for user to choose own password and username

Hello, I have an issue wih my site not sending user passwords after registration (I did set that feature to YES in user options screen)

So with the current Emerald workflow users have no way to know the automatically generated password

I'd like to see an extra option in emerald setting to allow users to type their own password and also an option to have a username field instead that using the email or part of it

I know you have optimized the workflow to be as user friendly as possible, but in some cases the old username and password fields are still the best choice.

There is parameter in user manager to send password to user or not.

I know. I also understand you have designed the purchase flow to be as easy as possible. It's just that sometimes users are not happy with complex password being sent to them automatically.

They are used with the old "choose username" and "choose password" fields.

Sorry Sergey, I am bit confused on the workflow in this case...

If I use the joomla registration users will be redirected to register an account when the click on the "purchase" button? And after registering they will be automatically redirected again to the purchase subscription page?

This is what you get when you require user to confirm email in Joomla. Even if user is not redirected he cannot start purchase subscription untill he is logged in and he cannot login until he confirms email. So in fact it is much more complex for the user. It is not redirect to purchase page after registration, it is go to your email inbox, click on the link, in openned window find subscriptions, login and only now you can purchase.

that is why we have RDS and SDR in Emerald. that allow you to redirect user directly to payment gateway after registration even if account is not yet confirmed finish purchase. Or Just purchase and account will be created auomaticaly.
