How to change next invoice number?

Hello, i will not manage all of my invoices with emerald, some of them will be created locally, and some others from emerald directly

so I will need now and then to change the next invoice number generated by emerald, to keep the numbering correct when I put together my local and emerald invoices.

I understand there's no setting to do this, but it's possible editing the site database directly? and in thsi case could you pint me out where to look exactly?

There is file components/com_emerald/invoice_num.txt that contain latest invoice number. Next generated invoice will +1.

Just edit this file accordingly.

You should put a field in the admin section that updates the components/com_emerald/invoice_num.txt file when its needed to be changed. I am willing to bet there are more people than you know that need this... Me included.

in my case I will create invoices with 2 different systems,

manually for freelance work I do automatically for subscribers on the site

so every time I create an invoice manually outside of emerald I will have to change the next invoice number in emerald, this will probably happens 5/10 times per month

anyway in my case editing the .txt file as you suggested is just fine
