Is there anyway that i could set some sort of menu item permission dependent upon a user subscription.

So for instance "registered" user subscribed to subscription "membership 1" can view menu item "add advert 1", but "registered" user subscribed to "membership 2" can't and so on.

If there isn't a direct solution is there at least a work around?

Hope this makes sense

Thanks in advance

This absolutely make sense!

But Emerald was developed with the idea of promotion of sales on your site. You can definitely restrict menu links different for different users but you cannot hide them. First it is technically imposible. Second we think it is right. We think users have to see possible links and if they try to click they get message to subscribe.

If you hide menu links people may even never know that they will get something special if they subscribe. When inks are there it is like you sow what you will be able to do фаек subscribe.

So we do not think there is any problem that we do not hide restricted material. It is visible to every one just not accessible.
