By creating link to section url do you mean? ...

Menu > Main Menu > New

Menu Title : mytext

Menu item type : Cobalt 8 > List > then select appropriate "Home Category"?

My records list is a map.

When I click on the markers the url to the record is of the style ...

I can confirm that this the geo field issue.

In the 'Section' when I change the 'Record List' to 'Default' and not 'Map' I do see SEF Urls then.

Yes, but I bet you have set the correct "Section" there.
Otherwise you could not make your current tests, right?

Actually I was talking about the Section's parameters.
And also the Sub-Category parameters (if you have any)
Both edit screens have parameters for the "Target MenuItemID":

In the Section's parameter you should select the respective Cobalt List MenuItem.
If you have Sub-Categories, you can leave their parameters to its default "inherit".

Sorry, I can't confirm. I have a test section with user Profiles and address data.
I have tested all default templates and also switched to the Map template.
The SEF URLs are working. They are the same in table, blog and map info-window.
