How to show fields when they have no values

Hi,

As far as I can tell when I have a field on a record with nothing entered the field does not display on a record.

Is there a way to show a field that has no entered value, but display the message something like "Not known".

depends on the field. But it is always possible in custom output template. If you insert at least one simbol there, field will not be considered empty.

Maybe a nice idea for a faq article... or a tips and tricks category in documentation ;)
Might be a time saver to know which field-type has which value (if left empty).
So, checking for EMPTY or a specific DEFAULT CONTENT has a correct result.

Some fields allow default values by configuration. You may set a value or default selection in field parameters.
