Sergey,

I don't know how to describe the question clearly, perhaps the pict below could show you what I mean.

All in this type are using html field, and in tab "Table of Contents" I have a list of other tab (field), what I would like to have is I can put url link for each description in Table of Contents to its related Tab (field) next to it,

Like shown in pict, I want to put url link at "C2: Coordinating..." description to Tab C2, when user click the C2 link in Table Of contents it will go directly to tab C2. Is that possible? since all these tab in this record give the same url page.

I have tried to put anchor on C2, and configure its link to C2 in TOC, some instruction I get from google said, to add #anchor_name at the end of the link, but it didn't work.

That if we want to link with anchor on another page,

if we wan to link it on the same page we just put the anchor name on the link. (this one working well).

Now, I don't know which case applied with your tab view template. does all fields were shown/processed in the same page or different page?, I assuming that all fields were processed in the same page, and using javascript to split a view based on group.

If this is the case, the second link method should be working () but it didn't work..

(because the anchor and the link is in a different field?)

This is no type of tabs that works this way. Thise mootools tabs even do not have id atributes on tabs.

to add #anchor_name at the end of the link, but it didn't work

with your tab

No, no, no... It is not our tabs. It is Joomla core tabs. Joomla class JTabs. This tabs are used everywhere in Joomla.

It might work if you create custom template. You will need to place

Before every field and then you can use

position1

in URLs but it should be without tabs. Just one long page.

Sergey,

Other question,

Does it mean something? can we use it to direct the link?

Field tag name is only used in XML view of the article. It is not used in HTML view. Thus it cannot be used.
