We've been running Emerald 9.428 on Joomla 3.6.2 without a problem, but just received the notice from PayPal (see image).

Not sure what this means or how to fix the problem. Thank you

Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing:

http://ourdomainname.com/go/index.php/component/emerald/?task=plans.create& ;Itemid=1&processor=paypal&em_id=404%0Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fourdomainnamee.com%2Fgo%2Findex.php%3Foption%3Dcom_emerald&task=plans.create&Itemid=1&processor=paypal&em_id=320

If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account.

This URL looks strange. Looks like there is another URL stick to the end of this one.

That could happen if someone tryed to hack your site and get free subscription.

Let's wait if you get other problems like this. As i understsnd all other purchases works fine even those that were done after this one. Right?

Hi Sergey, we're still getting the notice from PayPal- now it says they disabled our IPN. Can you help me determine what's causing the problem? I've noticed that it's only for one subscription, and I have a feeling on what happened but don't understand the process so I'm not sure how to fix it.

1) We had a subscriber on an initial recurring subscription (i.e.; payment date 2nd of every month) 2) Subscriber wanted to change his payment date - so we tried to see if we could pause the subscription on the PayPal side (didn't work) 3) We canceled his subscription on PayPal side and had the subscriber create a new subscription on the date they wanted their new payment. 4) Their payment has been going through okay 5) The first PayPal notification referenced plans 320 & 404 (as in the image above)- the second warning referenced only 320, and the last notification referenced only 404 (these subscriptions are the ones belonging to the same subscriber)

Need help with this ASAP- thanks!

What I can suggest you is to turn that IPN off. If it is possible of course.

Unfortunately I have no idea how something like could happen. Certainly no through the code implication.

Something like that could happen is someone try to get unauthorized access and try different links and requests to cheat PayPal. The only way out of this as I see it now Is to do something PayPal stops send IPNs. Unfortunately I do not know what in particular you have to do since I have neve been in a situation like that.
