Admin cannot see unpublished records

Hi guys,

(You must have noticed that I'm sending a couple of issues all together, but I prefer waiting till the end of this project to do it once).

I have a business model where teachers publish their own courses and students pay to access the content.

Now, teachers submit the course content with "auto-published" is turned off. This is because the admin has to check sth before letting them publish a new course. I'm controlling the access to publish by a secondary boolean field which only admin has access to edit, so when admin set this field, the user can see the publish button.

The problem I'm having is that I cannot find the way of listing unpublished records from frontend. Is this a normal behaviour? I would like the admin user to have the ability to list unpublished records as the author has on the Menu Options.

Do you mean you want admin to see list of unpublished records of all users?

What i mean author can see unpublished records right?

Yes Sergey, that's correct.

Just asking if it's normal behaviour that the admin (even set as Super Moderator in Cobalt settings) cannot see unpublished records of all users.

Right now, only authors can see (their own) unpublished records. But admin cannot see unpublished records from other users. At least this is the behaviour on my site.

It is not normal. Originally we were planing that those who are allowed to publish records could see all records in the list. And I have applied fix accordingly.

Hello Sergey,

I have the same issue on two of my project with the unpublished items.

Both, author and super user cannot see the items in frontend. Do you already have correct it or is this depending on a settings I do not set correctly?

There may be settings problem. Check with what access rights articles are created.
