I purchased and try this module.

But I was surprised that there is no 'Module Class Suffix' parameter in this module.

I reported in 'Bug' because I think 99% of Joomla modules have this parameter...

Also you use Article templates for this menu. So, if you want to display only the records titles, you have to create a new template. I know. It's easy to do, expecially customizing an existing template.

But this is a very basic template, why you don't include it in the Articles templates?

The templates for module are taken from the templates for the section. There wasn`t need to add template with only titles.

This topic is more looks like 'Idea' as has a lot of suggestions

Templates for the module are taken from the Article List templates.

And you have to create a new template or modify the existing default template

(but it's risky with updates...).

The default Article List templates has lot of options.

But two options are missing (or not working) :

  • suppress titles above columns

  • suppress the custom fields (like multiselect fields)

If you set 'No' for all options, except 'Title as link' and 'Show title', titles above columns and custom fields are still displayed.

You are right. Templates like this should be already there. Because it is basic. We just had no time yet to create it :) It is due to ouк priority. Although this template is basic but at least you can create it yourself. But there are some important basics that cannot be created by any user so it is first in priority list. That is why.

If you create this template you can share it in Community Depot. :)

There is no risk on updates if you create copy of the template. Only if you customize existing one then you may lose your work.

You may create your template based on Simple. This template has parameter to exclude fields.
