Frankly speaking, this question and topic has been raised 100+ times.
Actually, Sergey already has answered the question multiple times...
No offend, but IMHO there is no need to ask anymore (for the time being) ;)

In short:

  • there is no official announcement, so there is no ETA!
  • it is planned or even in the works
    (doesn't matter either for the time being)
  • there is a lot! of work to do
    (hence the total switch to jQuery, means replacement and rewrite of many functions and fields!)
  • apart from improvements and technical changes, there are a lot of new feature requests.
    (means sorting and setting priorities, see related "RoadMap" topic)

So, we simply have to be patient!
