is it possible to create a field of email type to use to send mails to selected articles

here is the scenario:

go to records list pages. under each record there will be a checkbox. user selects records by selecting multiple checkbixes against selected records. there will be a button saying "send mail to selected records. user clicks that. popup opens like when you click to email. the contents will be similar like when u send mail. user fills up. click submit. email will be sent to multiple owners of the selected .

i am not sure if we can do this using email fields.

but can this be considered as a new feature request?

would be glad if sergey can implement this,i m sure it will also help others.

I think yes. But it is not quick to add. We where thinking about Cobalt cart for building e-commerce product catalogs. This would be nice for your scenario. You put products or articles to card, and there you pay with INQUIRE gateway, which simply inquire vendors without processing payment.

for the time being you can probably implement quick2cart to have this multi mail functionality working, then at later stage, you can develop this inbuilt within cobalt. please accept this, this will help lot.

I accept idea. Not a quick2cart. May be it will be different solution. But ability to put articles into cart is good.

Even if I could tell the ETA, for sure it is not soon. May be even later than later.
