Cobalt + Simple Custom Router

did anybody try this extension with Cobalt

When talking to developer this was his guidance for ex. category items without section in url.

Well, try with the following route:
Path: menu-item/category-items/(d+)-([a-zA-Z-]+)
Query: index.php?option=com_cobalt&view=records&section_id=1:section_alias&cat_id={1}:{2}
Itemid: 134

where section_alias in query is your section alias and 134 is ID of menu for section.

But that did not work for me so I'm asking if anybody had success with it?
