Hello,

We believe we have everything set up correctly but are not seeing the payments on the joomla Emerald 8 backend from either Paypal or 2CO. Paypal has an IPN set up, but still no payments showing.

The payments are being processed in Paypal, but not showing the Emerald 8.

Please can you advise on the fix needed.

Darren

Those PayPal IPN looks like subscr_failed IPNs. SO not subscription should be created. I enabled log. When you have new order we will see.

Sergey,

I received some more recurring payments in Paypal that are not showing up. Looks like 3 payments on the 23rd and 1 payment on the 24th. These are not showing in the Emerald 8 backend. So I think they should be in the log as failed messages for you to look at and see what the issue is?

Perhaps the adopter we put in for old IPN urls isnt working correctly still?

Attached is an image of the most recent failed message after trying to purchase the 19.99 membership option.

As I can see in the log everything looks ok.

I can see that queries to com_jcs create subscriptions if [txn_type] => subscr_payment. It fails on some IPNs because those are [txn_type] => subscr_fail. Those are not IPNs that tell to create subscription. Those are to tell that next payment had failed.

Sergey,

These payments are legitimate and should be renewing/extending out the subscriptions as they had done in Mighty Extensions. As these people are paying and transferring the funds and cannot access their membership anymore. Its currently failing on all recurring payment IPNs for subscription ID's 1 and 2. This should not be the case.

I need for the emerald 8 backend to extend, (create subscriptions) for these payments. These payments should be creating IPNs that update the Emerald 8 backend. None of these should be failing, as the funds have been transferred successfully.

How do we resolve this, is there a way to transfer the existing subscriptions to use the new IPN messages? Or something like that so these payments extend out (create new) subscriptions?

Thx

Darren

Also, I just went in to check the Paypal payment from today and the Status of the IPN messages has now reverted back to disabled? I did not touch anything. Maybe Paypal disables IPN after a certain amount of failed message sends?

I went in and turned on the IPN notifications again.

I am not sure IPN is turned off automatically.

I think may problem is SEF on your site. It trys to redirect none SEF urls to SEF. That is why PayPal might consider some responses failed.

Sergey,

Can you be more specific about which urls? Is there a way we can override the SEF urls for this component. I went in and disabled the SEF for 'com_emerald'. What else would we need to do.

Is there a way to change/redirect the notification URL for recurring payments to the format being sent by the new subscriptions? Seems like this would fix the problem?

OLD:

http://www.professionalsoccercoaching.com/index.php?option=com_jcs& ;task=create&view=jcs&layout=history&processor=paypaypal&order_id=1&Itemid=71&amount=19.99&pay=ipn

NEW:

http://www.professionalsoccercoaching.com/index.php?option=com_emerald& ;task=plans.create&view=plans&layout=history&processor=paypaypal&order_id=1&amount=19.99&pay=ipn

As I had mentioned I have a proof that old URL works nice. I can see new subscription created with notification to OLD URL. SO there is nothing to fix actually.

Lets do this. Tell me what IPN exactly not going through. Give me IPN ID and Шэдд check шею Because after I looked all IPNs I could and all log I did not find any problem of successful PayPal charge not creating a subscription.

Hi Sergey,

I am attaching two images of screen shots to help explain. This is a recurring payment for email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. document.getElementById('cloak366c1c3158bbaa4b7d816c0428bf77a9').innerHTML = ''; var prefix = 'ma' + 'il' + 'to'; var path = 'hr' + 'ef' + '='; var addy366c1c3158bbaa4b7d816c0428bf77a9 = 'shclark' + '@'; addy366c1c3158bbaa4b7d816c0428bf77a9 = addy366c1c3158bbaa4b7d816c0428bf77a9 + 'comcast' + '.' + 'net'; var addy_text366c1c3158bbaa4b7d816c0428bf77a9 = 'shclark' + '@' + 'comcast' + '.' + 'net';document.getElementById('cloak366c1c3158bbaa4b7d816c0428bf77a9').innerHTML += ''+addy_text366c1c3158bbaa4b7d816c0428bf77a9+''; . This has been a long time subscriber for the 19.99 subscription as you can see from the Emerald 8 backend screen shot. The recurring payment from the 27th did not update the Emerald 8 backend screen as shown.

This is for message ID:

74451328KR587971W

Transaction ID:

8PK36153A1560550K

I really appreciate you help solve this.

Darren

I see. I added some extra code to log additional data because i could not find why it is not creating subscription. To me everything goes OK. Please create the same report here when you have another case like this.

Sergey,

Here is an example of another payment that came in this morning 2/7/2013 and didn't show in the backend. I have attached an image of the Emerald 8 backend for this user and also the Paypal payment IPN screen.

Let me know,

Thanks

Darren

Dear Darren!

I thank you very much for your kind patients with Emerald. Finally I have been able to discover the error and fix it.

You need to enable you IPN again since it was disabled. But it will not be disabled any more. It was disabled because sometimes server responded with server error 500. But no more.

Thank you again for going through all of this. :)

Hi Sergey,

I have reviewed the payments coming in through Paypal and they look good so far! Great!

I did have an issue with a 2CO payment. A user submitted a second payment after there first subscription had expired and the Emerald 8 backend did not recognize the payment for some reason.

Please see user email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. document.getElementById('cloak86455a1110b3977bfec9ab7490f62231').innerHTML = ''; var prefix = 'ma' + 'il' + 'to'; var path = 'hr' + 'ef' + '='; var addy86455a1110b3977bfec9ab7490f62231 = 'yousef708' + '@'; addy86455a1110b3977bfec9ab7490f62231 = addy86455a1110b3977bfec9ab7490f62231 + 'hotmail' + '.' + 'com'; var addy_text86455a1110b3977bfec9ab7490f62231 = 'yousef708' + '@' + 'hotmail' + '.' + 'com';document.getElementById('cloak86455a1110b3977bfec9ab7490f62231').innerHTML += ''+addy_text86455a1110b3977bfec9ab7490f62231+''; . They paid on July 15th for a 19.99 subscription. I can see the old subscription in the backend, but a new one was not created for this user in Emerald 8 after the most recent payment.

See attached.

let me know if you need more info.

Sometimes, 2CO may not create subscription. That happens on my site once in a while. Approximately once to month I have to manually create subscription. I could not still understand. may be 2CO INS system is down sometimes or what.

Just manually create this use subscription.

Sergey,

I have been trying to enter the following ticket. But the captcha looks to be missing from the 'Add New Topic' option for me and so I cannot submit this issue:

Please feel free to set this up as another ticket, this was the only way I could get this over to you, sorry and it was quite urgent.

Empty solution not allowed is the message I always get.

Here is my issue:

Title: Unable to Manually Add a Subscription

I am currently unable to add a sunscription manually. I am able to do it for users up to ID = 42099

But I am unable to select any users below that for some reason? I have tried to scroll down to users with higher IDs than this in various browsers and various ways (selecting with mouse, arrow keys etc), but it wont go below this user ID. Please try for yourself.

I need to set up a subscription for user ID 42296 urgently as they paid but did not get a subscription.

Below is a screen shot of as far down as I can scroll:

selectuserissue

Let me know, this is urgent as I have customers on hold who have paid.
