I am migrating a site from 1.5 to 3 and attempting to move a sizable Mighty Resources + Mighty Membership based site to Cobalt + Emerald. Do you have a time frame on the release of Emerald 9, if its not going to be released in the next couple of months (even in alpha/beta) I will need to work on an alternative however I would rather stick with what the client knows and put them on Emerald.
I understand you don't want to issue a definitive release date and you have other pressures such as a migration tool to get Mighty Resources data into Cobalt but a general time frame or even an Alpha with loads of bugs would really be helpful for development planning.
Really liking the functionality in Cobalt, will continue to support even if we have to launch without Emerald and add at a later date.
