Error after having cleaned thumbnails

I have cleaned all thumbnails. But instead of generating new ones, the following error shows up and the pictures are not displayed.

Warning: Division by zero in /www/htdocs/w00f6992/libraries/mint/resizeimage.php on line 483

Any idea on this? Error is on productive site, my boss is not amused :S

How did you clean the thumbnails? Did you use the clean tool under TOOLS ?

Just check first if you can find a folder thumbs_cache under your "uploads" directory.

If yes, make a backup of it and run the "Clean thumbnails" again.

Check if the folder was deleted now. If not, then remove it. (You still have a backup of this folder).

Now open the page with thumbnails and see if they will be recreated.

It should now recreate the thumbs_cache folder.

If everything is ok, you can delete the backup folder.

I cleaned the thumbnails with the integrated tool. The thumbs_chache folder is empty. If I "clean thumbnails again" nothing changes. When I remove the folder, the error is still there. Seems like no new thumbnails are created...

What field type? Gallery field? What version are you using?

Maybe a permission problem?

Can you try to give full permission to the "thumbs_cache" folder.

Gallery field, current version (Cobalt also). Permissions are set so 777.

Hmmm ...

i tried it with gallery 1.6 / 1.7 and Cobalt 7.8684 under

3 different OS -->

local XAMPP installation/Win7,

Centos 6.2 and

MacOSX 10.7.4

Uploaded File format only jpg

it works everywhere. After deleting the thumbnails with the tool, they are regenerated

I did not run any other tools. Backup was not necessary (but I have one), because the images weren't that important. With the account above you have access to the back-end, if that is what PMA means.

But don't spend your time with testing on this issue. As long as it works from now on (never again will I run "Clean thumbnails" :D) that's fine. But if you're still curious about it, I will help you find where the problem is located. I'm pretty sure that I didn't delete the images "by accident".
