Does Cobalt have workflow capabilities?

We have a project coming up that needs workflow and approver capabilities. We know we can do it with SEBLOD but, that's a hard one to get your head around.

Does Cobalt have the ability to setup defined workflows and have people make comments on submissions then eventually approve the submission?

Hmm! There are many questions because there are many different requirements. Like what you mean by approve? Just to change status? If yes then it is extremely easy. There is special status field. Will even add notification to all record subscribed users.

Discuss? You can discuss with comments. Or you can discuss with relate records. If you need discussion to be another content type.

If you tel me more of your requirements I'll tell you more on Cobalt solutions.

Eric,

regarding the approval feature, Cobalt has this build in. For the article submission as well as for the comment system.

See the TYPE parameters under Section Comments and Submission Parameters. You can even use other 3rd party Comment-System.

Regarding the workflow requirements, you might be a little more specific.
