too detailed search results

Hi,

I just found out, that search results of cobalt search plugin are way too detailed for my customer: it reveals unwanted details like author name, author email, creation date ... they are all disabled in whole website, but your search reveals them! :(

How can I disable that globally?

Websquirrel,

just adjust your fulltext search parameters under the section parameters.

After saving it, dont forget to run the reindex tool in the tool section.

The reindex tool was that tipp, that helped ;)

And what about creation date? It is still displayed in search results.

Hmm .. in Cobalt 8, it is not included, and as far as i can remember, it was also not included in Cobalt 7.

Maybe you are referring to the "column" in your list display.

If this is the case, then disable it in the list properties of your list template under the section settings.

This is included by Joomla global search. Cobalt plugin return special object with includes creation date.
