Modification of search filter - group of value of an input. - Cobalt 8

Hi,

I have created a field who the users insert a numeric value (es: kilometers). In the advanced search this field is set up with the Filter template Checkbox.

So for any number i have a checkbox. I want to create a group of value of this input.

Es:

Before: checkbox for value 1 5 6.5 25 2

After: checkbox for value 0 - 5; 6 - 10; 11 - 20 ect

When an user click this group of value the records are filtered by the group of kilometers.

How can i do this?

I think you have to use digits fiels. This field allow to use two knob slider to set minimum and maximum values for search.

Hi,

i wait when this field become free like there is with cobalt 7 version.

Can i integrate this field for cobalt 7 free in Cobalt8?

Altrimenti i must create a script jquery with a text input and a select input.

I did not do anything explicitly to make Cobalt 7 fields not work in Cobalt 8. But at the same time I did not tested it. I am те sure it will work but you may try.

Hi,

i have installed the digits field of colbat 7 on my cobalt 8.

It doesn't work, i have the slider but i can't move the cursor to decide the number of field.

Can i have a wrong configuration of this field?

Please, consider the following:

tyr free Cobalt 7 in a separate J25 installation. Play with it to your hearts content. It is FREE.
try the offficial Cobalt 8 DEMO page (you can log in to administrator area. Create a new Digits field in any type etc.
Simply spend 10 bucks on the single purchase (lifetime!)
