Hi, We have to build a E-commerce Shopping cart for selling customised products. These products have to customised for various attributes such as size(custom height and width), colors, materail used..etc. The price of the order will have to calculated accordingly.

Can Cobalt be used for this system. What kind of development time and cost would it involve.

There is no out of the box solution for this. Why you want to use Cobalt when there are solutions like JoomShipping, Hikashop or Virtuemart that already has this feature?

In fact we have in the plans to create extension for Cobalt with shopping cart possibility. But that was only plans. ANyway that would be not cheap development.
