How to have simple mailto link in email field

In the older version of Cobalt (Mighty Extensions) in the email field you could have it just displayed as a simple mailto link.

How can I do this with Cobalt 8? I do not want the whole email popup, slide....just a simple link that users can click that will open their default email program to send an email to the address in the link.

That is possible.

There are 2 important and different parameters for display and sending.

display of the actual email-address

display button for sending (via online form)

If you hide the latter, you will only get an (obfuscated) email with mail-to link.

I tried your settings but it is still not working the way I had hoped.

I just want to have a "link" essentially to the address that will just open the default mail program.

I don't want that box to pop open.

Turn off email send feature of the field and allow email be a link.
