Replication:

Click on a 'good' place on map where all fields are known, e,g, country, state, city, address etc. Then 'address from marker'.

Then if you click on a place where, say, the 'city' is not known (e.g. try in a not populated area, then 'address from marker', all the known fields are changed, but the 'city' remains the same from the previous query.

Ideally all would be reset first to empty before each 'address from marker'.

Is there a small guide to show how to update? I know I'm a noob!

I've installed the new main cobalt and the update geo field, but problem same.

To update just install cobalt зсл or any field and install in Joomla. That will update.

I only ask as Field - Address & Map (Geo) - v. 8.155 does not fix.

e.g. I click on France, then UK, and "State" still says "Lower Normandy" i.e. it is not reset.

For geo field it is complicated as almost half of functionality is in template. It means that not only how it looks but how it behaves is defined in template. Thereafter it is best to use default template of geo field unless you know how to fix things on your own.

I have edited "Marker Info Window" template a little.

Changed the icons set source folder.

And edited the section template - Markup layout.

Here's a picture of what is on the geo field ...

... maybe I haven't altered the templates you mean.

You can simply install Latest CObalt over and it will replace all changes you did in templates.

But if you made copies of templates and assigned those, you need to reassign. If you did, tell me what templates you had copied?

I have re-installed latest Cobalt, problem still exists, so my problem must be in templates that I have copied.

As in the screenshot above my templates in 'geo' are all 'default'.

So it must be another template ... I have copied and edited markup template?

Could be the source of the problem.
