Registration field: "login failed" error after submitting

I have a type enabled for public submission,

I created a registration field (with no login form, just registration)

when clicking "save" I always get this message error:

"login failed - you cannot access the private area of the site"

I receive normally the welcome e-mail form joomla, and the new user is being created, but the record is not being submitted

and as I said I am redirected back tot he submit form with that error

thsi happens both when captcha is ok or wrong,

when it's wrong I still see the "login failed" message error along with "wrong captcha" message

You have to make sure that you turn off email confirmation and make user accounts activated instantly in Joomla user settings.

it looks like if registration field validation fails...

it seems that the field is looking for an existig user and trying to login,

while I am using the field to register a new user, not to login

It restirct by core joomla registration system. Try input password with length not less 6.

We fix it on your site. Problem was in user group, which you select in registr field, after we move you own group in parent group Registered, because all user became registered, all works fine.

Registration failed: Server was unable to process request. ---> Exception encountered. ---> Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

please assist with the above error, user registration is showing this error while the data is being stored

Enable error reporting to maximum and debug log to on. And try again. That should give more information of the error.

What oyu have is barely enough.

REGISTRATION FAILED.PLEASE TRY AGAIN!(JOOMLA) I have same problem.I did user ->options->Captcha->None(disable captcha) Its working for me. but i want that exact solution Because I was used captcha for 2years.but it suddenly show error in front end.
