italian language file causes error 500

I downloaded the italian translation from transifex and uploaded

the it-IT.com_cobalt.ini file to

/public_html/language/it-IT folder

now when I visit the site in italian I get this error:

**Error 500!

View not found [name, type, prefix]: cobalt, html, cobaltView**

if I delete the it-IT.com_cobalt.ini file

the error disappears...

any idea why this is happening? I guess transifex file should have no sintax errors in it, and anyway a missing " should not create this kind of errors

Try to edit file and change all ' to ’

The single quote may cause some errors. Although you are right it should not be cause of that 500 error.

done, but it didn't solve the issue

just to be sure I dleted all cobalt fields langauge files, I have only the main it-IT.com_cobalt.ini

now, corrected like you said. but the error is still there :S
