Problem with forum install!

But Cobalt install was ok?

OK I started a new installation, absolutley blank, no articles, no gantry just using the inbuilt Protostar

template. Went through the quick install on this site seems to work, but still cant install the ipcountry or the forum. The Gallery gives "Field 'gallery' not found. Maybe it's not installed".

SO you have managed to install gallery pack? But it requires field gallery to be installed. If you install this field then you it will show galleries.

Ip2country not yet fixed. This is because Joomla 3.0 new installation behaviour.

That is strange. Try to set all files and folders permissions to 777

I can mess around as much as I want as Joomla is on Webmatrix on my PC.

I remember when I had the gantry framework on there was a User 42 error on the forum front page.

Googled it and seems to be something about preinstalled user data or the user Superuser needs ID 42. Will try the permissions. Ask anything for Joomla setup as I can get site up and running in 10 minutes with Webmatrix.

This user 42 error because of some comments. Just delete all preinstalled topics in forum or comments. This error will gone.
