hello

please can you considerate make an sef advance extention plugin ? because it does not store any URLs in the database but does conversion on-the-fly. Thus, there are no performance downgrades due to slow database connections, no huge quick-filled tables with duplicate entries, no indexing issues, no slowdowns on big sites with much content. The integrated URL caching system can further reduce the load and improve the performance.

thank you very much

But urls have to be stored somewhere. If there is no ID in url then URL have to be stored. Where is it stored?

I do not know way of making URL without ID and DB.

Sounds really interesting. Funnily, i never tried it in my first Mambo/Joomla times.

Do you have any experiences with it? I know there was a performance and feature comparison chart on Alledia.com blog (now founder of OStraining). But the older blog and article are gone.

Flashback for fun:

Haha… i think I found the very old article on Steve's personal site. Okt 2007! Unfortunately without the comparison – the mosCHART bot is not working anymore. No wonder :)

Flashback for fun 2:

Review of another "exotic" SEF extension called jPromoter. May 2007 ;-)

Just found the J!1.5 - 2010 version of the comparison chart. But also with missing images :(

Would be nice to have a current comparison and newer article about 3rdParty SEF extensions. Any source?
