Reminder on my C7 topic about missing MIn/Max values and input and filter templates.

Requests & Suggestions: - Min Max values as input limit. Currently it limits the amount of digits, this allows no real custom ranges of values! Only rough totals like 9, 99, 999 etc.) - Min Max values do not show-up in filters on page load. The values are empty/hidden. The user has to drag a slider to know about the range. - Min Max label is hardcoded in filter template. - add more input and filter templates like sliders, stepper/spinner, knobs etc.

Links input styles: - Stepper (FuelUX) - Slider for Bootstrap - jQuery Knob (cool and mobile friendly) - jQRangeSlider (also applicable for Date&Time field)

Links validation: - Nod (was listed in bootstrap related resources)

AFAIK, the jQueryUI Slider widget has also a "create" method. Which seems to be responsible for initial values. But i don´t get their documentation... and can´t apply it to your specific Script functions. I guess, I need a JS/jQuery Course ;-)

yes it has. But I cannot pre-populate filter. Otherwise it will be automatically applied when user search.

Bummer. Not user-friendly. I think it is very crucial to show the values to the user.

Some weird ideas:

1.) Can it have additional output areas? Maybe no input form fields. Just alter and update another HTML container?

2.) Check if inputs have changed? Are they different to initial values? If yes, use them as filter values, if not don´t use them.
