some mysterious error - need help

Hi,

I am getting some mysterious error.

Here is my scenario

I have imported categories, sections, types and all fields from another site using the pack feature in cobalt 8/

I imported in my new site without any issue

However when I enter information in the submission forms and pess submit, I get a file called index.gz downloaded. Also when I see the article and click on title, I get another file downloaded.

Can anyone help?

Hello brianpat,

Sounds like your pages are compressed... but not decompressed.
Also your server might not support this feature.

Do you have a new server environment? Did you enable GZIP compression in your hosting and/or Joomla config?

click on title , you will see file getting downloaded. No, i also tried the compression page option, but still same issue

also i took the copy from same server, so not a server issue

Try to enable error reporting and debug mode and report here if it change anything. And I'll check this out later.
