Can categories belongs to many sections?

Is there any way to connect multiple sections in the same categories.

The scenario is as follows:

Site of classified ads to subscribers.

Plan 1 -> type 1 (expires in 30 days) -> section 1 (subscriber may post up to 5 ads) -> several categories.

Plan 2 -> type 2 (expires in 60 days) -> section 2 (subscriber may post up to 10 ads) -> in the same categories.

The audience sees the ads by category, no matter which kind of subscriber has published.

Why not to store everything in one section? How end user will look for listings in 2 different section with has the same types of article with differens only how much article author has paid. You can allow some pople to purchase 30 day listing some 60 for the same type.

post and more than one auto expire on the same type

There is display restriction by Emerald. Records will be displayed as long as author of the article hase active suscription. It mean those who have 30 days will be displayed 30 days and those who purchased 60 days will be shown for 60 days.

I'm not using Emerald. I'm using Akeebasubs integrated with J! users group because I need integration with brazilian payment gateway PagSeguro.

Hmmm, .... I do not know then what to suggest. :) May be that we create gateway for you for emerald to use with PagSeguro? But that would cost additional money. I do not think that Cobalt on itself can manage your requirement.

Custom code? So there is no solution out of the bo. Then would it be much easier to use Cobalt with little of custom code? If we would talk about custom coding I coud give suggestions to solve ehat you need in 10 lines of code :)
