Issue with relation field

I want to create a Book-Chapter relationship and I would like only the book author to be able to add chapters to a book the he/she initiated.

Unfortunately the "add existing" link doesn't show when "only the article author" is selected.

This feature is mandatory to work for my project, please advise.

I have an active subscription...

That was a bug which should be fixed by now in the latest field versions.

Could you tell me what exactly what is the latest version in which this is supposed to work?

I have version 2.3 for the relation field.

If there is a later version, where do I download it from?

You have to update Cobalt too. If you updated everything but it is still not working as expected, please give me admin access in private text block and I'll check it.

That was not settings. That was code. I have installed Xtplorer extension one your site and edited files.
