Hello,

I installed Cobalt on to seperate Webservers and followed the instructions in the Quick Start. Everthing works fine, but there is no button on the FrontEnd to edit or add. Also the message for login will not be shown.

The only thing I see is

"There are no articles here. Be first who post here./"

Can You help?

Thx, Alex

1)I don't now how disable metadata and special fields

Goto your "Type" -> General Parameters -> Templates -> Submission form

Hit the little "gear icon" next to your template name. I assume, it is "default".

In edit Template modal window:

See "Core" parameters -> Show Fields

See "Core" parameters -> SEO Fields

Hint: In Cobalt7 those parameters are saved for the selected template. So, if you are using the same template for another type... and you change the params there again... it will change them for all other types as well. So, you might copy and rename the template before.

Maybe this modified/extended image field is an option for you?!

I mean in the path that you told me to follow:

Goto your "Type" -> General Parameters -> Templates -> Submission form

Hit the little "gear icon" next to your template name. I assume, it is "default".

In edit Template modal window:

See "Core" parameters -> Show Fields

Created field

Expire date time

If I choose to show these fields in my form it appears as "special fields" and appear always at the end of the form. And my questions are:

1)How can I put the Special Fields to appear more upper?

2)How enable the Special Fields? (it does not work)

3)Is any required button for the Special Fields?

1) you cannot order them. But if you make it available for registered it should move up.

2) What do you mean enable? There is always special fields group when you open form as admin. If you want to enable for registered users you have to set rights in form template parameters.

3) There is not required button for special fields.

Thanks for the answers. How can I choose the table that I will save the form?

Unfortunately you cannot chose where your data will be saved. It will be always saved in js_res* tables.

When I press the apply button of the form can the output of the form display to another page?

I do not think so. Apply will always stay on the same form.

What do you mean by another page? Another context?

You may set a custom redirect-URL: TYPE -> SUBMISSION PARAMETERS -> SUBMISSION BEHAVIOR

@Sergey

Could Redirect-URL parameters support the placeholder like in custom SQL parameter? Maybe UserID, AuthorID could be useful.

No I didn't mean that. I mean when press the button apply the output of the form display another page not the user redirect to another page.

Unfortunately there is mo step-by-step forms in Cobalt. Only single form.

Sorry the upper answer goes to the pepperstreet:

"You mean a preview on submission form? Might be possible, if the upload is done before hitting the actual save button. Please, ask the developer of AG Picture. "
