Geo field - Google map input - default latitude and longitude not working.

A couple of days ago I renewed my subscription and downloaded the latest 'Everything' package so everything should be up to date.

With the Geo field, on the submission form, the default map location is always Germany and not the latitude and longitude in the map input selection. When refreshing the page the correct location can be seen for a brief second before the map changes to Germany. What setting am I missing? I have put a current Google API in the configuration settings.

Just realised I wasnt logged in when I submitter the above question. Your forum doesnt remember me even when I log in with 'Remember me' box ticked.

Do you mean deafult when you first open edit page? Or I mean create article?

For those defaults you can set specific parameters in field parameters. There is default Lat. and Lng.

Hi Sergey

I mean the create article page. I have changed the default latitude and logitude thats why, when I refresh the page, I can see our country (Australia) for a breif second before it changes back to Germany.

Are you in Germany? Do you have autoatic location detection ON?

I am in Australia and automatic location detection is off

default latitude and longitude is for Australia

OK. I was not able to identify problem. Can you provide me with FTP acess? i need to change some files to find out this problem.

Did you do any customization?

I have fixed it for the next update Today. Google Map API was changed recently for Geocoder.

Thanks Sergey. I just downloaded the geo field and installed it but it's the same so I don't thinks it's updated yet.

I did not update field. It is in Cobalt Everything package. Install that one.
