Fatal Error suddenly appeared - Cobalt 8

Hi, I am using the full version of Cobalt 8 and suddeny a fatal php error has occured while trying to manage section categories. The following message is received:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getItem() on a non-object in /home/myadzo33/public_html/components/com_cobalt/library/php/helpers/itemsstore.php on line 40

index.php?option=com_cobalt&view=categories&section_id=1

The file hasn't been modified since Cobalt was installed, so I'm not sure why it would suddenly be causing an error?

Any suggestiosn would be much appreciated!

Hello, a known issue with Joomla 3.6.0
Actually it should be solved.
Are you sure you are using the latest Cobalt 8.719 !?

Hi, thanks for your response.

I downloaded and installed Cobalt 8.719 and now the following error appears any time I try and access cobalt, either through the administration panel or the front site:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/myadzo33/public_html/libraries/mint/helper.php on line 48

Ok. I get it. It is too early to go to PHP litel bit higher. Although Joomla recommends 5.6-7 minimum is still 5.3. That is a bummer. I have changed everything for php 5.3.
