list autocomplete field: suggest values from language files and not language variables

I create a list autocomplete field and put in the list language variables like

CB-AVALUES-1

CB-AVALUES-2

CB-AVALUES-3

...

then in the override language file for my site language I put

CB-AVALUES-1="Access Consciousness®"

CB-AVALUES-2="Acqua Diamante"

CB-AVALUES-3="Acque spirituali"

...

I tested the field, when typing inside it it suggests the language variables, and not the actual values associated with them

is it possible to fix this?
